Since most players are unlikely to do consecutive Long Rests at a time, they might not get to see the remaining Camp Night Events play out. And so, other events get sent further back into the queue as only one event can trigger per Long Rest. This usually gets selected based on a priority system. Turns out, that whenever you go for a Long Rest in the game, it chooses one event to play out.
